Congress leader denied ticket in Madhya Pradesh, dies after taking poison

Shajapur/Ujjain, Nov 7 (HT): A Congress leader died after consuming poison in Agar, 80 km north of Indore, on Thursday after he was allegedly denied a ticket by the party to contest elections from the reserved assembly constituency.

Narsingh Malviya, a former zila panchayat member, was said to be depressed after he found his name missing in the Congress's candidate list for Agar. The party has fielded Madhu Ghelot in Agar, which recently became the 51st district of the state. Malviya had been with the Congress for over two decades and was its Agar district secretary.

Sources in the local Congress unit said Malviya had been disturbed for past few days after the candidate list was announced. He had complained to his friends that he felt betrayed because he was assured of a ticket. This morning he went to a temple and consumed poison. He was found lying in unconscious and was taken to a hospital in Ujaiin where he died.

Madhya Pradesh goes to polls on November 25.

The person who pays 100 Crore Rs to Sonia Aunti, gets a ticket in congress. Honest party worker like Narsingh Malviya will never ever be recognized in the party.

To raise in congress party one need to have done rape/loot/scam/molestation/harassment/fraud etc.

He must have given huge amounts to high command for getting the tickets which he had borrowed at steep Interest thinking that he can return the same once he wins and start getting big bribes.
But as he did not get the ticket and also did not get back his money, naturally he had no alternative but to commit suicide.

Raj: The fact of the reality is
how much a 'Ticket' got weight.
Two decades he enjoyed money and
    duplicate/forceful respect which
he is deprived of. Obviously he has
