Assam, Nov 7: Quality time with family and friends seems to be the agenda for actor Aamir Khan as he celebrates wife Kiran Rao's 40th birthday (today) at Nameri National Park located in Sonitpur district. Aamir and his wife are joined in their celebrations by Karan Johar and Ayan Mukherji without forgetting the couple's son Azad Khan.

They are said to be staying in a private resort within the national park and have been afforded complete privacy by the park officials.

Security was also tightened for their arrival in the state while the administration welcomed Aamir by gifting him with a traditional Assamese scarf called a Gamosa.

Aamir arrived here yesterday and had to cut through scores of fans to get to the resort. They are all expected to stay at the resort for a few days and it is believed that a trip to the Kaziranga Naitonal Park.

Aamir, upon arrival was seen attired just as his character 'Sahir' in his much anticipated movie Dhoom 3 which is set to release next month.
