Mumbai, Nov 19 (IANS): Actress Shruti Haasan was attacked Tuesday morning at her residence by a stranger who has perhaps been following her for quite a while now, a socurce close to her said.
"The stranger has been following her ever since she started shooting for 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya'. Three days ago, he had also come on her sets. At the moment, she is very stressed and for her safety, she has moved to her friend's place," the source said.
On Tuesday morning, Shruti was attacked when she answered the doorbell. The actor, though shocked, fought and pushed her attacker out, the source said.
