Udupi, Nov 21: The annual feast of  Fatima Church Pernal was held on Wednesday November 20.

The annual parish feast was celebrated with the usual grandeur. Priests from the Deanery, from the parish and outside were present and the Church was full with parishioners and guests.

The candles of honor were distributed by Fr Arthur Pereira from 10 am. The present parish priest welcomed Fr Serrao and all the priests and introduced them to the congregation

The main celebrant was Fr Gregory Serrao, who was the parish priest of Pernal, till the month of May this year. He preached a good homily on the importance of Faith in life.

The choir was well appreciated. The mass ended at 11:50 a.m. The youth, the parish Pastoral council and other associations of the parish worked well for the success of the Feast. The Sisters of the parish as usual arranged the altar and flowers very artistically, leading to devotion.

At the end of the mass the parish priest Fr Arthur Pereira rendered gratitude to the people who were part of the celebration of the feast and he wished all the parishners and well-wishers a Happy feast and called upon to continue the 'Keep the faith Strong'.
