Meeting lays down stipulations for ATM kiosks at Kundapur

Kundapur, Nov 24: In view of the attack at ATM kiosk at Bangalore, a meeting of bank branch managers and the police officials was held on Thursday evening, November 21 at the police circle inspector’s office at Kundapur.

The circle inspector P M Divakar who spoke on the occasion said that “ATMs should be manned by bank employed security staff round the clock.  They should be employed after obtaining complete details of the staff and a copy of the details should be given to the concerned police station.  The bank officials should ensure that the security staff works there without break."

 

 "C C Cameras should be installed both inside and outside of the kiosks.  The bank should ensure that those remain in working conditions.  ATMs without suitable security will be banned”, he said.

All the branch managers of the banks were present at the meeting.  Sub Inspector Jayarama D Gowda and staff were also present.
