Mumbai: 'Mhataro Chorbela' play presented at Marol

Mumbai, Nov 26: The metro-based Frank Product, Konkani theater group presented, ‘Mhataro Chorbela,’ social comedy play at Vincent Pallotti church grounds,Marol on Sunday November 24 evening.

Pallotti parish priest Fr Charles Fernandes was the chief guest of the simple function held before presenting the Konkani play. 

 

The entrepreneur Rony Goveas, Pallotti  parish council vice president Andrew D’Souza, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy award recipient comedy king Francis Fernandes Cascia were the guests of honor.

The sixty-second show of ‘Mhataro Chorbela’ by playwright and veteran artiste Francis Fernandes Cascia, directed by Joy Paladka was staged to the packed audiences on the occasion.

The theatre artistes of over three-and-a-half decade: Francis Fernandes Cascia, Edwin Banz Sastan, Betty Naaz, Julie Vaz, Peter Pais Basroor, Gregory Sequeira Niddody, Flora D’Souza Kalmady, Shanthi Barboza Basroor, Gregory Sequeira Niddody, Flora D’Souza Kalmady, Shanthi Barboza Boliye along with upcoming artiste Roini Sequeira Paladka, enthralled the audiences.

The acting of upcoming artiste Roini Sequeira Paladka was much appreciated by the audiences by standing ovation. Sofia D’Sa and Helen Noronha honored the guests with flower bouquets.  Andrew D’Souza  honored the sponsors.  Joy Paladka compered the programme.
