Mangalore: St Agnes College to host national level intercollegiate fest 'Brillo'

Mangalore, Dec 2: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangalore, will be organising a two day National Level Intercollegiate fest Brillo, on December 6 and December 7.

The events of this fest will be conducted under the following faculties viz : Arts - Rutilar / (Glitter) Commerce - Parpadeos / (Flicker) Science - Destello / (Flash) and General - Titilar / (Twinkle). Cash prizes will be awarded to all the winners.

Around 15 colleges from across the country are expected to take part in this event. The organisers stated that the word 'Brillo' is a Spanish word which means 'Sparkle'.

The fest will be inaugurated by P Jayarama Bhat, managing director and CEO, Karnataka Bank Ltd and renowned Cine Actor Karthik Banjan, will be the chief guest on December 6 at 9:30 am during the inaugural.

The valedictory programme will be held on December 7 at 5 pm Lekshmi M Kumaran, DGM Corporate Communication MRPL will deliver the valedictory address and distribute the prizes.

Sr M Prem D'Soza, principal St Agnes College; Vidya L and Ahalya staff co-ordinators; Anisha Fernandes and Karina students co-ordinators were present at the press meet.
