Dubai: Cath Lab launched at Zulekha Hospital

Dubai, Dec 4: Zulekha Hospital Sharjah has launched a brand-new Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab that ushers in a new era in care on eve of 42nd UAE National Day on December 2.
 
"This is a great addition to Zulekha Hospital Sharjah already strong cardiac program," said Dr Zulekha Daud, MD  ZHCG .

The square foot lab provides the best technology available including inbuilt FFR  to diagnose   serious cardiac conditions.

Procedure rooms, preparation and recovery areas are housed together, as well as a comfortable waiting room for family members.

The new lab will transform the way cardiac care is delivered at Zulekha Hospital Sharjah.

The two procedure rooms are equipped with the latest technology, including an all-digital cardiovascular imaging and archiving system, the clearest visualization of fine vessels, pinpoint diagnostics, FFR, immediate life-saving capabilities, and the ability to treat more cardiovascular conditions.

"This is state-of-the-art and outfitted with the newest equipment," said Dr Shereef Mohamed El Bardisy - Specialist Cardiologist and HOD from Cardiology Dept , Zulekha Hospital Sharjah  .The new lab is revolutionized with Artis zee ceiling-mounted system features a 20x20 flat detector and enables flexible positioning around the patient.

The Cardiology department at Zulekha hospital Sharjah has Dr Rupesh Singh - Specialist Cardiologist , Dr Shereef Mohamed El Bardisy - Specialist Cardiologist and Dr Muhammad Ali - Specialist Cardiologist .
