Cattle trafficking: Bajrang Dal, police seize vehicle, cows

Mangalore, Dec 6: Members of Bajrang Dal along with police on Friday December 6 stopped a car that was allegedly illegally transporting cattle.

The incident took place near Highlands here.

It is said that based on credible information, the members of Bajrang Dal alerted the police about the alleged illegal transportation of cattle and waylaid the Bolero car near Highlands.

Six cows and two calves were found in the vehicle.

The driver and two others who were with him managed to escape.

The Bolero and animals were seized by the police.

Pandeshwar police are investigating further.

    We can note one development in BD. Under BJP, there were no police, but BD goondas were acting smart against citizens. Now, under Congress regime, these goondas have learnt manners and somewhere changing to be human. I appreciate their love for animals than for human. Jai Karnataka. Jai Congress.

    Is there any accountability in the Go Shala?... Who is running these?. If some sting operation made the reality will come out. Is that these cows are sold to the butchers again.. Corruption doesn't have party or color.. In my constituency you can transport the cow by the blessing of the same people who complain... This made beef Rs.150/Kg...part of which goes the stakeholders...When our politicians will awake....? Why all of us got fooled again and again?..

    The best solution is open more cow slaughter houses.

    I have watched some Kannada channels with regard to beef meat, where they openly admitted it is Hindus, who consume more beef than others. So the demand for beef meat will not come down.

    The best thing will be open more beef butchery places. In UAE, non muslims are allowed to buy port meat in the supermarket without any issues.

    I urge sincerely and humbly to both the twin district corporation and Municipality to open more cow slaughter houses or illegal cow transportation's so that there will be no illegal business which is not good and un-lawful.
    Meat prices are going up like anything due to less supply and more demand.
    The government and the corporation should intervene immediately to provide more slaughter houses and free flow of transportation to and fro/in and around the districts to meet the demand of cow meat and counter illegal slaughter houses and illegal transportation.

    Dear Peace Lover, India,

    The problems is in the Police Department. During BJP period in the KSRTC and in the police department some fandoos are infiltrated by bribing bjp led government. That is the reason legally transporting of cows is not permitted by these corrupt police.
    ARE YOU SEEING THOSE KSRTC BUSES FREQUENT ACCIDENTS?!
    THESE WERE ALL THE INEXPERIENCE CONDUCTORS APPOINTED DURING JDS/BJP AND LATER BJP TENURES WITH BRIBE.

    The police in the Police Station are eagerly waiting to receive such complaints so that these police bark both the parties and fill their pockets.

    Some what the judiciary is acting seriously but the police department is still licking the bones thrown by the citizens.

    Even after sickular Congress is coming to power in the state these types of moral policing has not stopped yet which was deemed as a routine of Sanghis.Here one more step forward...even police joined hands with BD in nabbing cattle thieves.This is a welcome move and police needs to be congratulated.
    Cattle thieves and their supporters need to understand there is a virtual undisclosed spilt in Congress party between Hindu backed Congressed and sicularist backed Congress and so the events.This is ultimate truth.Dont loose heart.....
