Bhatkal, Dec 13: A man was killed in a collision between a bike and a Bolero jeep here on Thursday December 12.
The victim has been identified as Annappa Ishwar Naik (22) resident of Mattadahetlu, Murudeshwar.
He was killed instantly as he was riding on a bike which was rammed by an incoming Bolero jeep on the NH 66 near Teernamakki, Murudeshwar.
Sources have stated that he received a serious head injury after he was thrown off his motorcycle and landed head down on the road. The accident scene was very grotesque as the victim's blood was splashed all over the place.
His body has been shifted to the Murudeshwar government hospital for a post-mortem while the Murudeshwar police have filed a case against the Bolero jeep driver.
