Kasargod: Black magician arrested for sexually harassing minor

Kasargod, Dec 19: Manjeshwar police on Wednesday December 18 arrested a black magician from Uppala Aila for allegedly sexually harassing a 15-year-old girl.
The arrested is identified as Uppala Aila resident Ramachandra (38).
The father of the girl was a cook at the ashram and the girl used to come to Uppala to meet her father. She too was hired to work at the ashram. Ramachandra is said to have sexually harassed the girl then.
The police complaint stated that the girl was sexually harassed for the last six months.
As the incident came to light, a group of people barged into the ashram and vandalised the place. They damaged chairs, broke window panes and even damaged a car.
Based on the Ramachandra's complaint, the Manjeshwar police booked 50 persons for vandalism.
