Kundapur: Woman killed while crossing highway at Byndoor

Kundapur, Dec 24: A woman crossing the national highway near Uppunda market here was knocked down by a bike and killed.  The accident has occurred on Monday, December 23 at around 10 am.

The deceased is identified as Kaveri (55), a resident of Uppunda Pandumane.

Kaveri was on her way to Kambadakone agricultural cooperative society at Uppunda to bring ration when the bike moving from Navunda to Byndoor hit the woman crossing the road. Though she was rushed to hospital by the locals, she breathed her last on the way.

Kaveri leaves behind two sons and four daughters. 

A case has been registered in Byndoor police station.
