Bangalore, Dec 30: Elections to Mulky town panchayat in Dakshina Kannada district will be held on January 27.
Announcing the calendar of events for the elections to the Mulky town panchayat, the State Election Commission said the elections would be held to 17 wards.
The Dakishina Kannada District Deputy Commissioner would issue notification for conducting elections on January 6, the State Election Commission said in a press release.
The last day for filing nominations is January 13 while the last day for withdrawal of nominations is January 16.
Elections would be held from 7 am to 5 pm on January 27.
Counting would take place on January 29.
The model code of conduct would come into force from January 6 and will be in force till January 29, the commission said.
