Bantwal, Jan 3: A regional conference of Lions Club District 317-D, Region-VI ‘Disha’ was held on Sunday December 29 at Birwa Auditorium, Melkar. It was hosted by the Lions Club, Bantwal.

The conference was inaugurated by Lion Dr Divya V Shetty and was presided over by Lion Vasant Kumar Shetty, the Region Chairman. Lion Dr Ravi R HegadeHoovinamane, Ex District Governor Lion District 324-D2 was the chief guest of the conference.

The key note address of the conference was delivered by Swami BrahmanandaSaraswati from Hrishikesh, Disciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswati.

During the occasion an amount of Rs 2.5 Lacks was handed over to the president of Lions Club Bantwal to complete the project of well equipped physiotherapy unit, to continue their service activities.
