Kasargod: Fisherman goes missing after boat capsizes

Kasargod, Jan 7: Among four fishermen three are safe while one went missing after their fishing boat capsized.

Abdul Khader (24) resident of Peruvad Fisheries Colony has gone missing. The incident took place in Mogral Puttur at around 5 am at sea.

The mishap occured due to high current waves and the boat capsized.  Though three reached the shore, Abdul Khader could not be traced. Although the coastal police were informed they arrived late to the sot.

Fishermen and the police were unsuccessful during the lookout for Abdul Khader. Search is still in progress.

Thashildar S Shivakumar and village officer Lokesh visited the spot.
