Mangalore: Annual 'Karavali Utsav' to begin from January 12

Mangalore, Jan 10: The fun-filled annual fair 'Karavali Utsav' is all set to begin from Sunday January 12.

 

Addressing a press meet on Friday January 10 at the exhibition grounds here, Ashok Kumar, one of the main event organizers said "There will be 32 big stalls, 40 small stalls and ten special stalls at the exhibition. A variety of food, crafts, machinery items, household items, handloom, plastic items, and artifacts will be exhibited."

"All necessary items will be made available to the attendees. Every evening there will be cultural  programmes which will showcase artistes from across the state and the country. Tora tora, dragon train, columbus, zig zag, chand tara, octopus and many other amusement rides will be a special attraction, especially for kids."

Yemmekere Salam was also present during the press meet.
