Mangalore: Alangar church celebrates annual Infant Jesus feast

Mangalore, Jan 13: Devotees in huge numbers gathered at Alangar Church campus to celebrate the annual Infant Jesus Feast.

Mass began at 5:30 pm, Bishop Pius Thomas D'souza of Ajmer Diocese celebrated the mass along with several priests.

Fr Sunil Pinto, Bejai  preached the sermon. In the sermon Father analysed the situation of a family in today's world. Where the spirituality is lost, animosity and worldliness has destroyed the families. He exorted the people to cultivate the christian values and build  prayerful families, based on the word of God. Meals were served to all the  people  soon after the mass.

Fr Basil Vas, director of the shrine thanked all.
