Bantwal, Jan 13: A netball tournament for college students will be held by Vitla government first grade college on January 13 and 14 morning on college ground.
Professor G Yogananda, joint director of Mangalore university will inaugurate the tournament on January 13 at 10 am.
Shakuntala Shetty, Puttur MLA and president of college development committee will preside over the programme. Dr H Nagalingappa, director of Physical education at Mangalore university will be the chief guest.
Dr Kishore Kumar, deputy director of physical education at the university will give away prizes. Xavier D’ Souza, college principal will preside over the programme. Bhasker Shetty, president of Vitla Rotary Club will be the chief guest of the programme, as per a notification from the college.
