Kundapur: Teacher suffers breakdown after duty order cancelled

Kundapur, Jan 16: A teacher suffered a nervous breakdown soon after order of her appointment at a school was cancelled.

The teacher is identified as Nagaratna, teacher at Hemmadi government higher secondary school deputed to Bada school.

Nagaratna had been suffering from an illness for some time and was deputed to Bada school near her house. However as the appointment was cancelled by local panchayat, she suffered a mental breakdown and fell unconscious.  She was immediately rushed to a private hospital at Koteshwar.

It is said that she was in a similar situation in the past.  Ganapathi T Sriyan, president of district panchayat education and health who came to know of the incident, visited and consoled her.
