Mangalore, Jan 16: Sangeet Bharati Foundation (R), Mangalore, will organize a unique Carnatic-Hindustani vocal ‘Jugalbandhi’ on Sunday January 19 from 6 pm onwards at Town Hall, Mangalore.
 
A press meet was organized on Wednesday January 15 at Press Club, Mangalore.

Vice-president of Sangeet Bharati Foundation, Narendra L Nayak, addressing the reporters, said, "Renowned Hindustani classical vocalist Jayateerth Mevundi from Hubli and Carnatic vocalist Abhishek Raghuram from Chennai will render this Jugalbandhi concert."
 
Rajendra Nakod from Bangalore will be on ‘tabla’ while Mysore Srikanth from Chennai will be on violin, Anantha R Krishnan from Chennai on ‘mridangam’ and Narendra L Nayak from Mangalore will be on harmonium to accompany these vocalists.
 
Ustad Rafique Khan, president, Radhakrishna Rao, secretary, and Ushaprabha Nayak, committee member, were also present.
