M'lore: Shree Gokarnatheshwara College to host Alumni day on Jan 25

Mangalore; Jan 19: The alumni association of Shree Gokarnatheshwara College, Mangalore will be celebrating its fourth alumni day on Saturday January 25.

The programme wil begin at 5 pm and will be presided over by B Devadas, president of Shree Venkatesha Shivabhakti yoga Sangha.

Dr Shashidhara Maniyani, assistant professor of Kavoor Government College, Prashanth K Sanil, managing director of Nidhi Land infrastructure Ltd, Jayavikram, principal of the college will be chief guest of honors.

Harish Sherigar, MD of ACME Building Materials trading LLC, Dubai will be attending the programme as a special invitee.

Felicitation Programme:

It was announced in the press release by Naveenchandra B, president of the Sangha that in the programme, Prof K Ravindra, retired principal of Gokarnatheshwara College, Mangalore’s Arjun Moras and Olympic game’s achiever Sahana Nagaraj will be felicitated on the occasion.

Besides, the present president Naveenchandra requested all the old students, who have studied at Shree Gokarnatheshwara College to be present along with their families to make this event a grand success.

It will be a complete entertainment programme with a live band, comedy skit by famous group Balle Thelipaale and dance from student will be presented.

Gokarnatheshwara College’s old students Sangha had felicitated Harish Sherigar during its first year’s annual day celebration, Abdul Samad, chartered accountant was felicitated during the second annual day celebration and during the third annual day celebration, two retired principals Sujay Ashok and Shashilekha were felicitated and congratulated.
