M'lore: Faculty development workshop held at P A College of Engineering

Mangalore, Jan 28: A three day AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Program on 'Advances in Signal Processing and its Implementation Using VLSI was held at P A College of Engineering from January 22 to January 24.

Faculties from different engineering colleges of Karnataka participated in the event. Dr Niranjan Chiplunkar, principal, NMAMIT, Nitte, was the chief guest for the inaugural function and delivered the keynote address.

Dr Abdul Sharief, principal, P A College of Engineering also addressed the gathering.

The three day FDP consisted of 10 sessions handled by eminent resource persons from both industry and academia with considerable experience in the field.

Dr Ashok Kumar, principal VCET, Puttur was the chief guest for the valedictory function. In his speech he stressed upon the interactive method of teaching in classrooms. Prof Divya shetty, Convenor of FDP, summarized the event. Dr Ganesh Aithal proposed the vote of thanks.
