Udupi: 'Sneha Milana' inaugurated at Manipal

Udupi, Jan 29: "We can lead a healthy life without medication by observing discipline in our dietary habits. It is also necessary that we indulge in discussions on spirituality in such conferences to develop strong human relations," said Swamy Vinayanandagiri of Yogada Satsanga, Davangere.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Sneha Milana programme of Kudal Deshastha Adya Goud Brahmana community on Sunday January 26 at Vaishnavi Sabha Bhavana, Manipal. Basti Vaman Shenoy, president, Vishwa Konkani Kendra, Mangalore was the chief guest.

He offered the services of Vishwa Konkani Kendra to the members of the Kudal Deshastha Adya Goud Brahmana community for cultural activities.

Chandrashekhar Prabhu, Working committee President of Kudal Deshkar Goud Brahmana Unnati Mahamandal, Ramachandra Samanth,Trustee, Daboli Samsthan, D. Ramesh Nayak, President, Poornananda Seva Prathishtana, Jagadish Patil, President,GVKEMRI108, Karnataka and Sri Yogish Samanth, PRO, Saraswat  Bank were other dignitaries present.

S Dinesh Prabhu, President, Udupi District Kudal Deshastha Adya Goud Brahmana Sangha (R) presided.

M Gopalkrishna Prbhu, secretary, read out the report. G Krishnaraya Patil, treasurer, presented the financial statement. Dr Poornanand a Prabhu, treasurer of the Welcoming Committee, Smt. Thakur, president of the Mahila Wing, Madhuri V Patil, secretary, Kum. Ashwini Samanth, cultural secretary, Bharath Prabhu, Mahesh Thakur, Suresh Shanbhogue, Sathish Patil, H Purushottam Prabhu,Ramananda V Patil,Rajesh Patil, Keerthi V. Prabhu and others were present.

Sanjay Prabhu of the welcome committee welcomed. Ashok Samanth, secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Balakrishna Prabhu and Shailaja Shanbhogue compered.
