Mangalore: Student achievers awarded at St Joseph's College day

Mangalore, Feb 2: “Today we find youth who have degrees but unfortunately we do not find ones with human values and ethics. There are fewer  people who are honest. Corruption is rampant in our country in both public and private sectors. Students of today are the citizens of tomorrow”, said Dr P Pakeerappa professor in Mangalore University.

He was addressing the College Day celebrations organized by St Joseph College Jeppu here on Saturday February 1.

Prashanth Rasquinha, philanthropist said “Education provides a good future to an individual. Career plays an important role in life. So I wish every student who comes here let get good education.     

On this occasion Fr Wilson L Vitus D’ Souza, Fr Wilfred Prakash D’ Souza and Fr Onil D’ Souza were present.

Students who achieved well in academics were awarded.
