New Delhi, May 23: Calls between Delhi and Mumbai on MTNL network would be charged at local call rates of Rs 1.20 per three minutes.

The reduction in call rate is on account of MTNL opting to use Tata-owned VSNL as its preferred carrier for long distance calls between Delhi and Mumbai. The new rates would come into effect from June 1. '|'Black Monday' revisited|
