Bhatkal, Feb 12: SahilOnline Bhatkal won the Manipal corporation League cricket tournament by defeating hosts Manipal University with a margin of 15 runs.

After winning the toss Team SahilOnline elected to bat; in 20 overs they  scored 139 runs with a loss of five wickets .

The main run scorers were Keshew 52 and Imran Lanka 38 and Asjad 20. Emaan from Manipal University took 3 wickets in four overs giving a margin of 18 runs.

Batting second, the Manipal university team fell short of 15 runs as they could manage only 125 in 20 overs. Rahul scored 24 runs while Emaan scored 16.

Waseem struck the opponents with impressive bowling, taking 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

Earlier, Sahilonline had defeated Al Mass Mangalore in the semi finals after Waseem Asarmatta smashed a  century (103) out of 47 deliveries, with 6 sixers and 8 fours. Batting first SahilOnline Scored 187/7 in 20 over Al Mass fell short of 16 runs and were defeated.
