ICYM hosts 'Village fest' at Siddakaate

Moodbidri, Feb 12:  ICYM Moodbidri deanery and ICYM Siddakatte unit organized a village game festival (BRAMAR 2014) for the fellow parishes  of Moodbidri deanery at Siddakatte church Ground, on Sunday February 9, from 9:45 am till 9 pm.

After 28 successful years, ICYM Moodbidri deanery and ICYM Siddakatte hosted "(BRAMAR 2014) Village Game Festival".  Around 13 parishes  from all over Moodbidri participated in the event.

Fr Antony Lasrado (Parish priest Siddakatte church) was the president of inaugural program ,Minister  B  RamanathaRai (Karnataka's minister for forests, ecology and environment) presided over the function, Francis Cutinno ( President MCC Bank), ArunMendis (Owner Conquest construction and developers), Sheldon Crasta ( President ICYM Mangalore Diocese), Joshwa Agrar ( Vice president ICYM Mangalore diocese), Selwyn Jude ColacoHospet (President ICYM Moodbidri deanery), Rayan Dsouza Shirthady ( Secretary ICYM Moodbidri deanery), Francis Monteiro ( President ICYM Siddakatte unit) SteevanDsouza ( Secretary ICYM Siddakatte unit) were present for the function.

On behalf of all ,youth Minister  B. RamanathaRai was honoured with a shawl by Fr  Antony Lasrado.

The Games conducted were as follows
1)  Three legged running race
2)    Sack race
3)    Lagori
4)    Idli eating compition
5)    Tug of war
6)    ParamparikVasthupradarshan
