New Delhi, Jun 19: A 45-year-old woman was raped by her brother-in-law in northwest Delhi, police said on Sunday.
The accused, identified as Surinder, was in an inebriated condition and dragged the victim to a field and raped her late on Saturday.
"A medical examination confirmed that she was raped," said a police official, adding that the victim was taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram hospital.
The accused was arrested soon after the complaint.
