Warm Saturday in Delhi, Sunday could see storm again


New Delhi, May 31 (IANS): Delhi witnessed a warm Saturday with the maximum temperature recorded at 41.6 degree Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met department has forecast a cloudy Sunday, likely rain and a storm.

"The skies will remain cloudy throughout the day. Rain accompanied with storm may occur," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature Saturday was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.

Friday witnessed a sudden weather change after a storm and heavy downpour.
