Bantwal: Mahindra pick-up falls into lake

Bantwal, Jun 1: A mahindra pick-up that was transporting fertilizers skidded and fell into a lake, almost 25 feet below the road level on Saturday May 31. The incident took place in Kuntrakala, Vittal. 

Sources said that Arun Lobo (38), the driver was injured and Jeevandhar who was in the vehicle with him narrowly missed injury.

The driver was saved by the localites and was taken to Derlakatte hospital. 

The vehicle was lifted up from the lake with the help of a JCB.
