Mangalore, Jul 28: The commerce department of St Agnes College here, will be organizing a two-day national-level inter collegiate ‘Com Quest 2006 – Search for Excellence’, on August 28 and 29.

It is an effort to sculpt the caliber of the students through the various corporate skill-based competitions and help them meet head-on with the demands of the business world.

The theme of the event is ‘Navras’ which speaks about the nine qualities of a person– ‘Shringara’ (love), ‘Haasya’ (laughter), ‘Karuna’ (dejection), ‘Roudra’ (animosity), ‘Veera’ (gallantry), ‘Bhayanaka’ (fear), ‘Beebhatsya’ (disgust), Adbhuta’ (amazement) and ‘Shanta’ (tranquility).

Based on this theme, the following competitions will be held:
 Aakruthi (Venture Capital), Agni (Biz Quiz), Anima-Mahima (Stocks and Shares), Parineetha (Best CEO), Anveshana (Human Resource), Aathanka (Crisis Management), Jagruthi (Marketing), Parichaya (Ice Breaker) and Paryatan (Tourism).

A maximum of 10 participants from each college can compete. Those interested to participate can confirm latest by August 5.  Competitors from outstation will be provided with accommodation.
