Puttur, Jul 17: A person from Biliyoor near Uppinanagady in the taluk has been accused of repeatedly raping the younger sister of his wife for the last few months.
The girl in question, who is 15-years-old and studying in ninth standard, reportedly was raped three to four times during the last seven to eight months. It is learnt that the victim is pregnant now.
Father of the girl, who happens to be the father-in-law of accused Jayanth, has filed a complaint in this connection at Uppinanagady police station.
The policemen have arrested the accused and initiated investigation.
