Mangalore: Coconut tree uprooted at Balmatta causes traffic jam

Mangalore, Jul 17: A coconut tree uprooted and fell over the electric wires, causing traffic jam in the city on Thursday July 17.

The incident took place in Balmatta road, opposite to Mangalore Nursing Home.



Traffic jam prevailed for an hour. 

Fire service personnel and a few auto drivers helped to clear the road. However, no injuries were reported in the incident.
