Trinity launches employee, child monitoring software

Media Release

Mumbai, July 18: Mumbai based Trinity Data Systems Pvt Ltd on Wednesday July 16 announced the worldwide release of PCMonitor – A 24x7 Service that aims to monitor the computers for internet activity.

“Internet is on almost all the PCs today and we do not know what the users, either our children or our employees browse on the internet,” said Pramod Farias, the CEO of Trinity Data Systems. He said, “Just like an anti-virus, we want the PCMonitor to be used as a security tool by parents at home and businessmen at offices.”

PCMonitor is a small software that can be downloaded and installed from the website www.pcmonitor.in and once installed it will click and save screenshots of the computer on which it is running every five minutes. The owner of the PC or the parent can then view these screenshots at his or her leisure using any browser on a PC, tablet PC or phone from anywhere in the world.

“It is a great product for working parents as they can keep a track on their children as to what and whom do they interact with during the day,” says Simon Picardo who recently installed PCmonitor on his laptop which he lets his children use. “The idea is not to restrict them,” says Farias, “but to help parents give proper guidance to their children before it is too late.”

The business community too has welcomed this service. “During our soft launch in Mumbai in June we received good response from the corporate world. Even small businessmen and professionals like Chartered Accountancy Firms have adopted PCmonitor,” says Farias who himself is a Chartered Accountant who quit his job at ANZ Grindlays Bank in 1999 to start his own venture Trinity Data Systems that specializes in broadcast software for cable TV and satellite industry.

PCMonitor is a subscription based service with an introductory price of Rs 950 per year per PC. Trinity has also tied up with a few re-sellers in the Gulf. The service can be purchased online using credit cards through Paypal.
