Mumbai, Jul 20: 'Hate Story 2' has surprised the trade pundits of the Hindi film industry by collecting Rs 5.25 crores on its first day. The low budget movie was not expected to get such a big opening. The
critics thrashed the film, but this did not deter the audience from watching the film.
'Hate Story 2' is about revenge. The movie is directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by Vikram Bhatt. The movie is presented by music giants T-Series. Top TV actors Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla are debuting in tinsel town through this flick.
Excellent marketing, erotic scenes and great music are said to be the reason for the movie doing such an extraordinary business on its first day in the box office. The movie is expected to pick up more in coming few days and emerge as a hit in the box office.
