New Delhi, Aug 5 (IANS): Delhiites woke up to a cloudy Tuesday morning with the minimum temperature settled at 26.8 degrees Celsius, average for the season. The Met Office has forecast rain and thundershowers in some parts of the city.
"The sky will remain cloudy with rain and thundershower in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 83 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded two notches above the season's average at 35.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded a notch above the average at 27.8 degrees Celsius.
