New Delhi, Aug 14: The Supreme Court today brushed aside the plea made by an NGO stating that the movie posters of Aamir Khan's upcoming film PK that showed the actor in the buff was obscene. The Chief Justice simply informed the petitioner that it was literally impossible to keep any information from the youth today, who had access to the internet at their fingertips.

He also advised that if someone did not like it they need not watch it. He sternly opined that people should refrain from approaching everything from a religious angle and should instead let matters pertaining to art and entertainment to stay that way.

The petition referred to Aamir Khan's posters that were released which showed him in the nude with only a transistor to cover his dignity. The petitioners approached an Apex to take action immediately considering that the movie was portraying a lot of nudity and propagating vulgarity.

All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front, is the NGO that filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a ban on the release of the film stating that apart from the poster being lewd. The PIL was aimed at the Union Government, the Central Board of Film Certification, Producer/Actor Aamir Khan and Director/Producer Rajkumar Hirani by advocate Manoj Kumar Dixit at the Kanpur High Court . It went on to claim that there was a scene in the movie that was not fit for public consumption.

Meanwhile Aamir Khan at a book release in Mumbai, revealed that the second poster which is on the cusp of its release won't even feature a transistor. The movie is set to release on 19th December 2014.
