Frankfurt, Sep 13: Montifest was celebrated with a lot of devotion, fun and frolic on September 9 in Frankfurt AM Main. Over 100 people from Germany, Holland and France participated in the Liturgy and it was followed by the traditional "Novem Jevann".

The Liturgy was conducted by the Bethany Sisters. The Liturgy in Konkani was celebrated by Fr Steevan D'souza who was accompanied by Fr Robert Rego (founder of the Konkani Association), Fr Balthazar Castelino, Fr Ivan Lobo and Fr Mani.  The mass was complete with blessing of the "Konnseo" (new grain)" and with the "showers of flowers to our Lady". Sr.Stephena presented the 'Our Fathe'  in dance form.

The party that followed was packed with perfect entertainment including dance, music, games and a sumptuous Mangaloreanmeal complete with roce,  7 kinds of vegetables, and 'manddas'.

The Ursuline Sisters entertained the audience with a welcome dance. Songs were sung by Mitch, Ms Mueller  and Ms Mansi Jere.

In short it was a day for all to remember till the next "Montifest".
