No one is banging on about Bang Bang!

Mumbai, Sep 18: Given the usual hype and promotional stunts that are employed by various movies and their cast to get people to flock to the theatres to watch them, the silence leading to Bang Bang is almost oppressive. Is this the new ploy?

Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan, the leading cast of the movie were only seen interacting with the press at a special screening and even then only a section of the media was present. Given that Katrina is not too keen to talk about her relationship, and Hrithik doesn't want to hash the details of his divorce, their reticence doesn't come as a surprise.

In a rare moment though, while talking to the media, the actress confirmed that Ranbir was a huge part of her life. The surprise lay not in knowing that the two were seeing each other but that Katrina actually spoke about it. Hrithik on the other hand has made it clear that he won't be appearing in episodes of popular daily soaps to promote hi movie.

The songs that have been released have been viewed by many and the dance moves of Hrithik and Katrina have been garnering rave reviews. But it has been proved in the past that it takes much more for a movie to be a hit than just good songs and great dancing.

Given that the film is set to hit theatres in two weeks, it remains to be seen if the nearly non-existent promotion will add to the mystery and draw crowds or prove detrimental to the movie.
