Jordan arrests 11 IS militants

Amman, Sep 22 (IANS): Jordan has arrested 11 Islamic State (IS) militants who entered the country from Syria.

The militants after their arrest Sunday, admitted that they came from Syria acting upon orders from IS leaders to target key locations in Jordan and spread panic and chaos in the country, Xinhua reported Monday.

A blast took place at a house where these militants were making explosives.

Jordan, which shares its border with Syria and Iraq, has pledged to join all efforts to combat terror organisations, including the IS.
