Mumbai, Oct 4: Jagadamba Kalabhairava temple of Takadi Narayanagiri Ashram in Krishna Nagar at Jogeshwari east celebrated annual Dasara on Friday October 3 as part of Mahanavami.

Vidwan Harshavardhan Bhat performed Durga Homa and Chandika Mahayaga under the leadership of temple trustee G T Acharya and chief priest Vidwan P C Jayaprakash. Vijaya Upadhya, Purandara Jois, Vidwan Nagaraj Pothi, Pothi Vidwan Nagaraj Pothi, Manohar Bhat and other priests performed Poojas and gave a sheen to the programme.

Temple trustee Sanjiva P Poojary, members M C Suvarna, Sunder C Poojary, Padubidri Suresh B Kotian, Sudhakar Shetty, Sadananda Ameen, Bhujanga Ameen, Santhosh Poojary, Shiva Poojary, Kumar Poojary, Ashok Acharya, Dayananda Ameen, members of women's wing and hundreds of devotees were present. They held Kumkumarchane, flower and Panchamratha service, Ashtothara Archane Seve, Mahapooje, Durga Namaskara, bhajans from Jagadamba Bhajana Mandali, devotion of Devi and Annasantarpane in the afternoon.
