Mumbai: Colourful Youth festival 2014 held at Billavara Bhavan

Mumbai, Oct 20: Yuvabhyadaya committee of Billavara association held Billavara festival 2014 at Billavara Bhavan at Santacruz east recently.

The association president, Nityananda D Kotian presided over the programme. Jaya C Suvarna, honorary president of the association inaugurated the festival by lighting the traditional lamp. Chief guests Karkala MLA V Sunil Kumar, Karnataka state member of legislative council captain Ganesh Karnik, AICC Dakshina Kannada district Congress committee member Harikrishna Bantwal, senior businessman Giriya T Poojary, Gujarat Billava sangha president Dayananda Bontra Baroda among others were present on the occasion.

Association vice-president C T Salian, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Bhaskar M Salian, honorary chief treasurer Bhaskar V Bangera, women's wing executive president Shakuntala K Kotian, Sevadal chief Ganesh K Poojary, Bharath Bank CEO and managing director C R Mulki, chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, local and coordination committee executive presidents and office bearers were also present.

Yuvabhyadaya committee executive president Premanath C Kotian welcomed. Judges of dance competition Omkar Suvarna and Kripa Poojary were felicitated by Jaya Suvarna by presenting a memento. Association honorary chief secretary Dr U Dhananjaya Kumar compered. Dharmesh S Salian and Rathish M Poojary compered the cultural programme.

Yuvabhyadaya honorary secretary Sadashiva A Karkera proposed vote of thanks. Bharath Bank staff, association local and coordination committee youth groups presented attractive dances. Yuvabhyadaya's Harish G Salian, Gangadhar J Poojary, Ravindra A Ameen, Suryakanth J Suvarna, Ravi S Sanil, Prakash Moodbidri, Shyam D Salian, Umesh N Kotian, Deepak Kotian, Rajith Suvarna among others also participated in the programme.
