Time for HNY team to disperse; Farah, Deepika get emotional

Dubai, Oct 22 (IANS): It was an emotional moment for “Happy New Year” director Farah Khan and its lead actress Deepika Padukone - they broke into tears at an event here Wednesday.

“Happy New Year”, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Sonu Sood, and Vivaan Shah will be premiered here Thursday. And the team assembled here a day before the screening for a press conference, which is apparently their last event together.

“Just the thought made Farah emotional. She knows that once the film releases, the team members will go their different ways,” said a source close to the film unit.

“Deepika and Boman started crying too, while Shah Rukh and Abhishek were trying to console them,” added the source.

Abhishek had earlier said that they all worked like a family on the film and had a whale of a time.

Produced by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd, “Happy New Year” is a heist drama and the Bollywood Badshah has not left any stone unturned to make it the most spectacular and entertaining drama for viewers.

The film will apparently have the biggest release so far in the Middle East, US and Britian, the regions where Shah Rukh has a huge fan following.
