Mumbai, Oct 23 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan amassed a massive following of 11 million fans on Diwali Thursday.

“HAPPY DIWALI!! ... and today (Thursday) followers reach 11 MILLION!! SHUBHKAMANAYEIN! SHUBH DIN pe shubh SHAGUN - 11 (Good omen on auspicious day)!!!,” the 72-year-old tweeted Thursday.

Followed by celebrities like Hema Malini, Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, the “Paa” star keeps his fans entertained by frequently tweeting about his personal and professional lives, and connecting with his fans personally by replying to them directly on Twitter.

The actor, who has been in the industry for over 40 years, is currently busy with TV show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”. He also has a few films like “Shamitabh” and “Piku” in his kitty.
