Actor Rahman joins Tamil remake of 'How Old...'

Chennai, Oct 24 (IANS): Southern actor Rahman, popular for films like "Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal", "Sangamam" and "Singam 2", will play a key role in a yet-untitled Tamil remake of recent Malayalam hit "How Old Are You".

Actress Jyothika, wife of Tamil star Suriya, is making her comeback with the remake after seven years.

"Rahman will reprise the role of Kunchacko Boban from the original. He will play Jyothika's husband in the film. The regular shooting will start from November in Chennai, Delhi and Rajasthan," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

Incidentally, "How Old Are You" was the comeback movie of Manju Warrier to Malayalam films after a long gap.

2D Entertainment has now acquired the remake rights of the film, which will be directed by Rosshan Andrrews, who helmed the original as well. The process of finalising the rest of the cast is underway.
