It's college time for Priya Bhatija


Mumbai, Nov 7 (IANS): Actress Priya Bhatija has turned into a life coach of a college. No, she hasn't quit acting, but will be seen guiding the students in TV show "Yeh Hai Aashiqui".

"I'm portraying the role of a life coach, who helps and guides people. The thing that intrigued me about the show is its diverse concept," Priya said in a statement.

The story revolves around how Malini (played by Priya) falls for a rich spoilt brat Ashish while helping him find a meaningful life.

Actor Karan Jotwani will be seen essaying the role of Ashish in the episode, which will be aired on Bindass Sunday.

Actress Amrita Rao will be seen discussing the issue of gender equality on TV show "Simply Baatein with Raveena".

The actress, who was recently seen in films like "Jolly LLB" and "Satyagraha", highlighted her views on gender equality in Bollywood on the show, which addresses issues related to womanhood with fun and expert advice from renowned personalities of their respective fields.

The episode will be beamed on PAL Sunday.

Two new members enter "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins"

TV show "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins" is set to introduce two new characters played by actor Taahir Shabbir and actress Tuhinaa Vohra.

The stars will be seen playing pivotal roles in the Star Plus show.

Tuhinaa, who was also seen in "Ek Mutthi Aasman", will enter the show as Gayatri Singh, who lives with her nephew played by Taahir (Viraj Singh Rathod). Taahir is paired with female lead Nisha.

In the show, Gayatri wants to be the centre of attention and loves to dress up and flirt with young guys. Whereas, Taahir plays a national level rifle shooter who respects women.
