Doha: KSQ to celebrate Rajyotsava 2014 on Nov 14

Doha, Nov 10: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a nodal organization for Kannadigas Qatar is all set to celebrate ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava 2014’ on November 14 at DPS-MIS Auditorium, Al Wakrah.

The event will become all the more significant because KSQ is also celebrating its 15th anniversary of its formation on the occasion.

Continuing the tradition, KSQ will be celebrating Karnataka Rajyotsava Day 2014 - a cultural fiesta consisting of cultural events from KSQ and other Karnataka based organizations in Qatar. The event will add comedy flavour with stand-up comedy by Prof Krishne Gowda.

Iconic Kannada Poet, Padmashri, K S Nissar Ahmed will be the chief guest of honour and he will be presented with the prestigious second Qatar Kannada Samman Award on the occasion. 

Rajyotsava Awardee Vishweshwar Bhat, chief editor of Kannadaprabha Newspaper will grace the function as guest of honour. Other VIP dignitaries from Karnataka and Qatar are likely to grace the function informed president Deepak Shetty in a press release.
