Doha, Nov 19: The South Kanara Muslim Welfare Association (SKMWA) will be hosting the ‘Peace Trophy-2014 Kabaddi Tournament here on Friday November 21, 2014. SKMWA is aiming at promoting traditional Indian sports among the Kannadigas working and living in the oil-rich country of Qatar.

The tournament will be held at Al Jazeera Academy, Abu Hamour near here from 01.30 PM to 08.30 PM on November 21. A total of 6 teams will be participating in the tournament. The participating teams are:


1. SKMWA
2. KMCA
3. KSQ
4. TULU KOOTA
5. MCC
6. ISF

Six teams will be divided in to two groups, that is, Group A and group B for the leagues matches.

SKMWA hereby requests all the teams to be available by 01.30 PM on November 21 for the inaugural ceremony

Draws for the teams will be held in the presence of teams at the inaugural ceremony.
