Eve-teaser beaten in Madhya Pradesh by woman police officer

Sendhwa (Madhya Pradesh), Nov 22 (Daily Bhaskar): This boy had been allegedly harassing school girls for the last three months. The girls approached Sub-Inspector Monica Singh and narrated their ordeal. Monica Singh, posted with the local police station, caught the youth when he was allegedly staring at the girls early in the morning on Thursday.

According to the girls, the youth used to pass comments and harass them every time they went to attend coaching classes.

The boy was thrashed in the open, first by the police and later by the girls. The youth was forced to touch their feet. Later, police registered a case against the youth and presented him before the SMD court.

Prima facie the boy appears to be wrong. But, even if he is proved wrong there is a law in the country and it should be left to the judiciary to pass on the judgment in this case. Open-thrashing of this sort should not be approved in a civil society.

Even the Police officer is at fault. she should also be booked for thrashing a person in open public. If she had caught him red handed, her duty was just to book him and hand hm over to the judiciary for the further course of action

Though this treatment is not approved in civil society, what lady police officer and girls have done is 100% correct.Such boys should be treated in the same manner because when they commit any such mistakes, they should think twice.Whether lady officer was right or wrong in principle. But I appreciate her action and courage.Come what may be,her reaction is superlative. We in Karnataka require such bold police officers.

Our beppa home minister of Karnataka should request MP government to spare this 'lady Rambo' to Bangalore for some time. Atleast because of her action Bangalore might try to erase its 'Rape city' title!!
