Dubai, Dec 15: To celebrate the 43rd UAE National day celebration the Indian Cultural Society - U.A.E, Karnataka Chapter in co-ordination with Al Barha Hospital conducted blood donation camp on December 13,2014 at Al Barha Hospital Dubai.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr Amel Al Amin Mohammad. On this occasion she gave brief inputs of the benefits and features of blood donation, urged the participants to spread greater awareness about the importance of blood donation and congratulated the Indian cultural society members for their selfless social service and wished all the best for their future endeavors.

Naseer Karaje presided over the function and Indian Cultural Society’s chief secretary Munavvar Tamilunadu appreciated the effort for organizing this camp and gathering youths to be a part of this noble cause as life is precious on this earth. "Each drop of blood counts much, so kindly take it as personal compassion to help unknown who requires blood with no relatives to help him/her. Make use of this opportunity and get blessings from the victim and from the almighty.". He said.

Great numbers of donors participated in this event and donated their blood. It was nice to see cheerful smiling donors doing a great community work.

Dr Zubair Humuyamn and Dr Mahamood Hussain along with their staff and Indian cultural society members enthusiastically arranged the campaign which was witnessed by many members and leaders of various community organization of Karnataka.

The organizers thanked everybody especially, UAE Health Authority, Al Barha Hospital Management and staff as well as donors for their time and support for the good cause.

Indian Cultural Society, Karnataka Chapter’s chief secretary Ashir Chokkabettu welcomed the gathering and briefed the participates about the work of Indian cultural society. Hamid Savanoor compered the event while secretary Arif Madikeri proposed vote of thanks.
